National Air and Space Museum: Honestly to me is a big tourist trap that offers no real educational value except for a place for kids to run around and learn a litte about air flow. This is one of those museums that can be highly education for kids, but for the average adult can be incredibly boring. 2. Edgar Eugar Hazy Air and Space Museum: At the time of writing this, I didn’t know the true name of this museum, but if you take a drive out near Dulles airport and like planes at all, this is the museum for you. A lot less kids here and a extremely large amount of planes, history and air and space memorabela. This is by far my favorite air and space museum considerably better than the one inside DC. It offers the space shuttle, the plane that bombed Japan (forget the name) which is an extremely controversial plane, the concord, various WWI and WWII planes which some are extremely rare finds or only ones in existance. I would suggest walking around your self and then taking the hour long guided tour. 3. American History Museum: This museum took 4 visits to get through with the amount of stuff in it. The actual star spangled banner that flew over the fort when the song was written, the philly Gun boat, the tribute to the American Soldiers of war, and even kermit the frog along with the First ladies dresses. Not a big fan of the First lady exhibit, but I am a guy. The best exhibit here was probably the Star Spangled Banner and Kermit the frog. The flag is by far the best thing at this museum and they do an amazing job of showing and presenting it. 4. The Natural History Museum: I got through this museum in 2 visits.The dinosaurs, aquatic life, the gallery of pictures (2nd floor) of the nature, and the bone exhibit are all great. The things not to miss here, the Hope diamond, the glow in the dark rocks in the gems exhibit, the award winning photography and the bone exhibits if your stomach can handle it. My favorite out of this museum is probably the bones and award winning photography. But then again, I am a guy and do enjoy looking at photography and art. With over 100 museums in DC area, I sure do have a long way to go. This was written on my phone while on the metro so please forgive the spelling and misuse of correct grammer. Hilarious!!  So after we got done talking, I thought she didn’t actually hand me the yellow piece of paper.  I got out of my jeep and told her she didn’t give me my actual ticket.  So she got back in her car and started searching for the ticket it self.  I then looked back in mine and found the ticket on my dash board. I gave her the thumbs up and told her good talk!  lol. About how she lacks confidence and told her I didn’t understand why people lack confidence. She put it into a pretty easy way for me. She told me she always tried to lift me up. No one has probably ever tried to lift this girl up. She then gave me an example with my Niece. Sort of funny saying that. She kept telling my niece she was a princess and she could do anything she wants… I guess after telling me that, it sort of clicked. My mother always told me I can do anything I want and I believe I can. Im going to go into politics and try to be President of the US in the future. I guess thats good enough to doing anything you want.</p> <p>She always lifted me up. Built me up with confidence. Made me realize I could and have done anything I set my mind too. My sister has the same confidence I have… I guess what im trying to say is im going to just start building people up. Everyone can enjoy a good compliment and tell them something good about them selves. Im think im gonna do it with my kids.
