The Woman in His Life
Way back in Florida
There was a girl who didn’t take to life
Life took to her
She was a crazy no good brawd with love for others but none for her
She was living day to day
Dreaming night by night
She wanted a man to take her in
She needed solid ground to live within
Along comes a man who had everything she ever desired
He was hansome and charming
He opened the door when she went walking
The man found love and was totally blown away
She pushed him to the curve the very next day
She had a heart for a man in jail
He is crummy, sad and stale
Yet she needs to help the man
She thinks her love can change the man
Six months later, the man was released
He went back to what he did without her pleased
Now here this girl sits on a ledge
Wishing she still had that man from when time began
The man she pushed and stomped to the ground
The heart that was never found
Yet he dreams of her still
If only, she would call him from Jail
